Here is my fat cop character walking over a panning background, the background was drawn by hand and painted digitally. Also I have my flour sack riding some waves, I did some sound design on it so enjoy the ambient sound effects.

Layout and a painting, oy

Layout concepts for my story, we have the hero's home at the top, a pan where the character in a boat goes down the stream and finds a wounded soldier and also a rope bridge on the road to the castle. The painting was done in Photoshop CS.

These are a bunch of sketches and caricatures I did of people throughout the year, most of these were drawn from life or film, as for the case of Nosferatu, I did not see him in real life, unfortunately.

Medieval Charactr Designs

These are some character designs that are based off the medieval world. There is the hero character, the villain, a love interest and a pet that is also a comedic relief. You can read tiny character bios at the top, all the names are based off Norse mythology, cool eh?

Castlevania Painting

This took me a lot longer than it should have but I did get a bunch out of it. I spent quite a bit of time learning photoshop and viewing other artists' work. This was completely done in photoshop, from the drawing to final colouring.I need to play with photoshop more, this is a start I guess.

Gouache Painting

Here is a forest study I did in Gouache, its from last year and I finally got around to scanning it. The version in the middle is what it looks like on the illustration board, the other two versions I just messed around in photoshop.
